Good day. Just had our locations mixed. Online is tricky versus asking someone to check in and out.

The UHUAL truck that I rented seemed that the engine needed maintenance.

When I picked up the boxed trailer, the Representative helped me check the equipment. The blinkers worked, and the stop lights worked; however, I went to Laredo, Texas, approximately 180 miles from Weslaco, Texas and all was well, because it was daytime. Come night time, after I loaded up the furniture to transport, the trailer did not have any lights what-so-ever when I turned on the truck lights. I had to travel back to the Rio Grande Valley with only the Hazard lights on. I brought it to the attention of the Service Representative when I delivered the trailer back to the same location. I was told that they were only trained to check for brake lights and blinkers. That all of their trailer do not have any lights that come on at night and that was the way that they were supposed to be. HOWEVER, THAT IS NOT THE WAY THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE. BY LAW AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY, ALL TRAILERS ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE TAIL LIGHTS THAT TURN ON WHEN TRAVELING DURING THE NIGHT SO THAT THE CARS BEHIND YOU CAN SEE THAT THERE IS A VEHICLE AHEAD OF THEM. SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD CHECK INTO IT, BUT THAT THE TRAILERS WERE NOT SUPPOSE TO HAVE ANY LIGHTS BUT BRAKE AND BLINKER LIGHTS. I SUGGEST THAT YOU LOOK INTO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE THEY ARE RENTING OUT EQUIPMENT THAT IS NOT MEETING LAW REQUIREMENTS.
