Hire a new staff. The women who helped me check-out was not knowledgeable or helpful. She was slow and unprofessional. She said she did not know about renting the storage units or the storage boxes but claimed she was a manager? I rent a U-Haul three to five times a year and I've never had such a bad experience. I rented a storage unit on line but after dealing the the staff, I will be moving it shortly.

I picked up the uhaul at 219 E. Mckellips rd. Mesa Arizona 85201. The employee that checked me out had us waiting for about 20 minutes. At the time he was connecting the trailer on to the ball he was confused as to why it wouldn't connect. I told him I need to move the vehicle closer but he refused my help. He twisted the chain and hooked it on the hitch. I asked him for help to put the uhaul lock on and secure it but he refused to help me he gave me attitude walked away got in his car and left. Me and my boyfriend had to reattach the trailer onto the hitch ball and figure out how to secure the chain with the lock. His co worker creg crumb sat in his car watching us didn't offer to help. When we left Creg crumb followed us in his car for 5 miles to chase bank. We drove slowly about 30 mph in a 45 mph street. I parked in the parking lot Because I had the trailer and couldn't go through the drive thru atm and I can only use the indoor atm just like the chase bank on Dobson and main. Creg crumb pulled into the bank after us and parked. I slowly got my debit card and helping my boyfriend with our crying baby. I walked towards the bank and creg crumb comes to the door and says he was a chase bank employee and couldn't let me in with a angry voice. I then said whatever and walked back towards my car. He was wearing his uhaul work clothes, hat and name tag. That's when I realized he was the uhaul location. He walked fast up the walkway. I figured to tell him how aweful his coworker treated us. When I began to tell him he flipped out on me screaming and yelling in my face. Blaming me for everything. Everything he said was a complete LIE! At that point it seemed like he was on drugs ready to attack me because he was RAGEFUL. I looked at his name tag and said creg you should calm down its not that serious and I walked away. At that time people in the drive thru was recording him with their cell phones because he became extremely out of control swinging his arms screaming and yelling at me. He then threatened me saying he was going to look up my contract number with uhaul find out my address and come to my home. I felt like he was a complete psychopath. We left chase bank to eat and he followed us to the food place. We drove off because he was stocking us at 2 locations now. I called the cops to inform them for the safety of me and my children. I had a bad feeling about returning the trailer to the pick up location. So I followed my instinct and called corporate to informthem of the situation. They connected me with traffic department. The lady arranged for us to drop the trailer cargo off at 447 Broadway in mesa. The workers at that location was COMPLETELY respectful and helpful after telling the employee about the situation he personally showed us how to secure a chain on the hitch the correct way. I kept thinking how the guy at the pickup location did everything completely wrong. I hope Creg crumb gets FIRED no customer

Their computer failed twice while attempting to complete the rental agreement and payment. Aside from that, the experience was a good one!

The Appliance dolly was full of dirt and grease like it had never been cleaned so I got grease all over m clothes loading it. I was hard to roll and you could tell it had NOT been maintained. It took me 45 minutes to rent because the computers were giving the employee a hard time and we had to fill out all my information and take a copy of my ID 5 times. Upon returning I was charged for 5 days when it was a max of 2. That sums up my experience with Uhaul. Thanks.

For reserved trailers, would recommend having the trailer already ready at the pickup spot for the renter to have it attached to their hitch. Would save time..

When you reserve a specific size truck you should have that size available not something else. That takes anything positive about the experience away.
