Had a hard copy of my pickup time and unit from Shoppers. When I arrived no unit. While the help tried to contact U-haul another customer told me they did not have his unit the day before. Finally I was told that they had moved my reservation to another location. I was given a phone # which I called to make sure it was there which it was. This location was further away.Orrin L.

I got moved from the location in Tempe very close to my house to this location 10 miles away. I got a call the morning of my reservation saying they had no truck for me. I get over to this location and she tells me the truck has been rented. I put up a stink and she gave me the truck. She told me she would give me free miles but never did. I will not rent from u-haul again.James M.

Our trailer was so dirty inside and outside. The handles were rusted and the tires weren't in the best of shape. We actually had to hose the trailer down once we got it home. Also the customer service guy said this wasn't â€œhis normal jobâ€ so he really didn't seem to know what he was doing at all when he hooked up the trailer to our truck.Kristin C.
The one woman that I had to deal with by the name of Margaret was completely rude and incompetent. She made me wait at the counter for at least 10 minutes while she typed stuff on the computer that could've waited. Then proceeded to make sticky notes before helping me. Obviously intentionally making me wait. She was totally rude after that. The other lady that took us out to the trailer was a gem. People like Margaret need to retire or find a job they actually like that doesn't involve people. She will continue to give this establishment bad reviews losing them revenue. Better customer service and better upkeep of vehicle. I rented an Silverado truck and it had numerous chipped glass in the windshield and the body was scrapped on both sides. The interior dash and floors were not clean. I returned the truck early and was charged for the next day and was told I brought in late and other family had to make other arrangements. The front desk agent didn't look up my rental before telling me that even if I brought it back early I was going to still be charged for the days requested at time of reservation. I have used an different location and never been treated like that so I will never go back and I will only use the location on Broadway and country club on mesa.Elsa B.
This experience is reflected from my Nov 2020 experience. I had an issue with the STAFF. The staff. the vehicle was fine, BUT AS I ASKED THE STAFF HOW TALL THE OPENING WAS AND HE SAYS 7 FEET. THE QUESTION CLEARLY REQUESTS "THE OPENING", NOT THE INSIDE HEIGHT. BECAUSE OF THAT THE RENTAL DID NOT ACCOMMODATE MY NEEDS AND I IMMEDIATELY RETURNED THE VEHICLE. THE TOTAL TRIP BACK AND FORTH TO MY HOUSE WAS ONLY 3 MILES. BUT I WAS STILL BE CHARGED THE TOTAL PRICE OF THE RENTAL BECAUSE I WAS MISLED BY YOUR STAFF ON THE VEHICLE'S STRUCTURE. I AM HAPPY TO TELL EVERYONE TO AVOID UHAUL AND ULTILIZE OTHER BUSINESSES.Michael S.
Reserved a truck at this location. They sent me to another location that wasn't open. Then I was sent back to the original location just for a upgrade. The representative was not okay with me having the check in on my phone and was charging me full price after another rep mentioned I receive a $50 refund and free upgrade. I was charged once when I left with truck and once again after returning truck. I only drove the truck 35-36 miles.Carlton J.

I ordered a 6x12 open trailer to tow my motorcycle.. when I got there they told me that I ordered a closed .I didn't care which one I used so I took it.get to pickup my motorcycle and trailer has no ramp had to go exchange and get the open one.i told these people I was picking up a 900 pound motorcycle and still gave me a trailer with no ramp..Jeffrey C.
The agent that assisted was combative and did not acknowledge that she had the wrong account name and reservation information on the screen after our attempts to correct her 3 times. My partner and I tried to correct her and she would immediately interrupt us to say she knew exactly what she was doing ... by yhe third attempt she unwillingly let us finish our statement and finally acknowledged that she had the wrong account. The reservation took way too long considering we pre-uploaded copies of the driver's license to the reservation in an effort to speed up the appointment.Jacob G.
The phone-based/online check-in process seemed very good until I had to check in. There was little instruction as to how to take the license picture (which I did) and the system (for some reason) didn't accept it though my license is new and clear. I do online check deposits with my bank all the time without issue. The system replied that my alternate contact was the same as me- which it wasn't and eventually just hung. That was a strange error and actually wasn't true. So I had to go into the counter-which I didn't want to do because of Covid-19; hence why I tried online. The agent didn't know if I should cancel or modify the reservation and struggled trying to get the reservation to process for a long time, eventually saying that "they" couldn't read my license picture because it had a shadow across it. Not sure why this would be an issue since every character in the picture was clear. The online process needs refinement to work properly and without issues, apparently.James H.

Every time I rent from Uhaul there's a screw up. This time they gave me the wrong trailer number. They were very puzzled when I returned. Took 20 mins to figure out the trailer number on paperwork didn't match the one I was given.Todd L.
The suspension was not well maintained. The trutk needs a wheel alignment and it shakes when riding over freeway lane markers. Clean windows would have been nice and I could have lived without clumps of someone else's nose tissues in the door pocket bins. The vehicle was parked so it's driver's mirror was 2â€ from the next truck's mirror. In fact I had to enter from the passenger side and had to be very aware to not back up or it would have collided with the other truck's mirror.
