the online reservation was made for a trailer, when i picked up the trailer it was very small. reservation said 4x8 what wasnt clearly specified was that it was only 48" tall, i needed a minimum of 55". The owner of the rental establishment was very friendly and helpful and agreed it is not clearly specified that the trailer is considered a "mini". i took the trailer and tried to make it work but was unsuccessful, I had the trailer for an hour and returned it and renting another. Uhaul only refunded half the original contract not to mention i had to rent a second more expensive trailer. It was reviewed and denied the full refund. Very poor customer service, for someone who rents quite regularly in the past. I will now not be renting anymore and will just purchase a trailer. Hope the $20 was worth losing a faithful customer over. I couldnt care less about the $20 its the principle of the matter. they didnt even feel the need to contact me to tell me they denied the refund.

Dylan NWhen I picked up the Uhaul at Sterns Lumber in Millinocket, ME the rental agent stated there was a full tank of gas. Upon truck inspection with the rental agent at Sterns, it was discovered the truck had barely over a quarter of a tank. The agent noted this and remarked to us that he was going to update the contract to reflect this discrepancy on the contract and that we were all set to take the truck. We did and drove less than a 1/2 mile away to put in 20.825 gallons at the Circle K/Irving. I was charged $85.78 ($4.119 per gallon). Upon return, I am now billed $66 Gas charge when I returned it with more gas than what was originally in the truck.
