Had a reservation for a 15” truck at 11. Called me at 10:50 saying the truck I had booked is over 3 hours late so they are going to reroute me and find me a different one. Ended up getting a truck 45min later. Went by the location I was supposed to originally pick up my truck and there were 2 15” sitting in the parking lot. Also ordered a mattress bag and made up pay for it again. Guy we talked to on the phone had such a thick accent we couldn’t understand him either which made the process difficult.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkNot the fault of the depot partner. My booking showed pickup at 1106 Mountain Road and when I got there the 1st rep could not find my rental truck. Store manager then determined that the truck was not there and at 126 2nd Avenue. I had to go there, despite the location in my app shoing me to pick up at 1106 mountain road. When I got there, it was a convenience store with one truck. The only person working at this store had been there only a week and had no idea how to rent a UHaul truck. He called the store owner and I had to wait for him to come in to get my rental. UHaul has actual locations all over our city so I don't know why they are using the small, contract "dealers". I was delayed about an hour while my movers were waiting. Customer service dealt with it promptly and with no questions asked, providing a $50 re-imbursement for the rental. Customer service was great, but you have to do better coordinating pickup and drop off. I have rented before and will rent again. This was my worst experience and I know that can happen - its not the end of the world. I just hope you will take this feedback into consideration when planning improvements to the service and customer experience.

William BLower prices.. I rented the smallest truck u- haul had that said 19.95 a day hmmm..rented it for 5 hrs, went 53 kilometers total price 83.00 for the truck and 44. for fuel. So advertised at 19.95 a day paid 127.00 for 5 hrs..
