I rented a car hauler. Someone installed tow hooks on the trailer that were too small for my car's hitch. My car is a bone stock VW Touareg. I spent 2 hours and 3 trips back to Uhaul grinding my hitch down to accept the small tow hooks. The neanderthal manager at Uhaul tried to blame my stock vehicle for the problems and wanted to cancel the rental. Uhaul should try to rent a universal trailer that will fit all vehicles and should have tow hooks that will fit vehicles other than pickups made in the USA.
