How U-Haul Reviews WorkDear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent experience at your U-Haul location on Highway 1, near R&S Family Restaurant, Moose Jaw. On September 17th, I booked and picked up a vehicle from that location. The representative had difficulty communicating in English and primarily responded with yes or no answers. As we went over the contract, the representative showed me the fuel gauge reading on the computer, which displayed a fraction (like 3/8 or 1/4). However, the actual fuel gauge in the vehicle used a different scale, likely by volume or gallons, which created confusion. After driving only about 62 kilometers, I returned the vehicle and was asked to refuel to the original level. I estimated around $20–$25 would be enough, but ended up paying approximately $45 to refill. Even after that, the representative manually entered a lower fuel value in the system, contrary to what he had stated earlier about it being automatically connected to the vehicle. I asked if there was a photo from the previous customer's reading for comparison, but the representative denied sharing it. This led to me ultimately paying $87.33 for fuel, which I believe was for fuel usage by the previous customer. It is not possible to spend for 15ft truck to consume $87.33 worth of fuel just for driving the vehicle for 62 km. This entire situation reflects poor management and lack of proper documentation. I am seeking a full reimbursement for the excess fuel cost I incurred. I trust that U-Haul values its customers and will address this matter promptly. Chad FVery poor service at this location. Only one person trying to manage a busy gas station and a uhaul. 9 customers came in to pay for fuel while I was waiting for uhaul service. Took 45 minutes to complete the process
Troy PHave clearer directions to the pick up location. Hwy 1 is a long highway and linking to maps it brings you to nowhere. Jack was provided at this location to be able to load trailer. We were advised there would be a Jack available on drop off location to unload trailer
