We had difficulty getting the pick up as we had to use the app since the location was still closed at the time. It took over an hour and the service there was spotty, probably why I was having so much difficulty. When asking for the drop off location, it did not show any locations available to drop off in the area where we were moving to. We would have had to go over an hour out of our way when they provided the nearest location available. A representative did end up calling me during my time trying to get the truck and she was super helpful and understanding. I mentioned last year when we also moved that it was a dreadful experience as well. Again, we were hoping this would go off smoothly this time but it didn't and it was a long day of moving.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkOverall, the truck was clean and ran well. However, the inside of the windshield was quite dirty, and the wiper blades needed to be replaced. On the morning of the second day, the check engine light came on. I called U-Haul and spoke with a representative, who made a note of the issue. He mentioned that, since it was a newer truck, it may simply have been due for an oil change. I explained that all the gauges were reading normally and the check engine light was not flashing. He said he would transfer me to roadside assistance, but after waiting on hold for approximately five minutes, the call was disconnected. The truck continued to run well for the remainder of my trip back to Calgary, with no other issues.
Roger JI will never ever recommend U-Haul. They charged us for items we returned to the store. And still haven’t refunded us. If a person reserves a truck in advance it should be available for the move. Not a two day notice before the move that the truck is not longer available. Refund the money required to replace items left behind as they would not fit in the cube van. If a person reserves a truck make sure that you have it available on the day it’s reserved! Obviously.
