We aren't certain if there was something wrong with the truck or the gas gage. When we picked up the truck, we noted that the analog gas gauge read full or close to full. Our total trip distance was 12 miles or 20 kilometres. Based on research online, a 10-foot box truck gets about 12 miles per gallon (MPG), which is roughly 19.6 litres per 100 kilometres or about 0.20 litres per kilometre. Our total fuel consumption based on this information should have been 4 Liters. Before returning the van, we filled the truck and it required 20 Liters. We attempted to explain the situation to the attendant at the rental counter and he replied by asking if I had filled it until the pump clicked. After saying yes, he replied “I don’t know”. He semed to agree that it did not make sense that the vehicle needed 20 liters of gas after such a short distance, but he did not offer any solutions. We were quite disappointed, but too tired to argue with him. Can someone look into this issue, please?

Better signage of the location. Had to ask the gass station attendant where it was.
laura bTried 15 or so times, over 12 hours, to sign up on the U-Haul app unsuccessfully. It kept saying "oops, something went wrong on our end". So even though I returned the vehicle that night and left the keys in the drop box, I had to wake up early to go back in person and sort it out the next morning. It was EXTREMELY inconvenient. Also, the previous person that used the vehicle hadn't topped up the gas fully or swept the truck out. That was just a minor inconvenience but an inconvenience nonetheless.
Hardip pThe staff at this location are excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. I was doing a Remote pickup up and drop off but they were there and readily helped me when I was trying to work through the App on the get/return truck process. Thank you.
Donald DInitially I booked for 10 feet truck ( 3 days in advance) but the guy gave me 9 feet truck. I showed him confirmation but his only argument was it’s unavailable.
