I want to personally thank my U-Haul helpers, especially Pierre and his team, for doing an outstanding job moving my belongings from storage onto a truck for my out-of-state move. Pierre and his team worked incredibly hard to carefully remove every item from storage and expertly load the truck. They meticulously arranged everything to maximize the space while making sure my belongings were secure and protected for the long journey. I’m happy to say that everything arrived safely at my destination exactly as it was packed. Thank you, Pierre, for your professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional work. Go to old way of rental take final bill out of deposit with today’s economic shit hole people cant afford to pay 125.00 in the morning and in 12 hours when returning pay an additional 115.00 and have to wait 3-5 business days for the first 125 to be returned or at least spell it out upfront in big bold letters when starting to make the reservation

DANNY SNo one could answer questions at the site. They said they only let them park on the lot but don't do any of the rental parts. I picked up the truck and she never checked my license or anything in a computer. She did not know which key to give me (there were two trucks on the lot) but I was able to explain which I rented. She never activated the rental in the system. Yes, she handed a stranger keys to a moving truck and no one had record that I ever picked it up. When I went to return it (at the location that I set up with the 800 number) they said that they do not take one way trucks and that I had to take it to a different location. This cost me more in time and mileage. THEN, I get to the drop off location and they cannot do anything in the system to close me out because the pick up location never started the rental. We called the pick up location, they did not understand what to do. FINALLY, the guy at the drop off location was able to talk to someone at the 800 number/"traffic" that was able to sort it out. After trying to close return the rental for an hour after a long day of moving... not a good experience. AND I was charged more than expected, likely due to the additional mileage to the second location but, at that point, I did not have the energy to argue any more.
