Be open about the prices! Rented a Uhaul online and it was cheaper, we needed to upgrade and asked the man helping us if he had availability for the truck we needed as he had several trucks in the yard. He said he had one, but didn’t check it in so it was showing as unavailable online. Switching to the bigger truck added an extra $700 to our charge, whereas online it would’ve only been about $150-$200. We essentially paid double for an extra 5 feet, which we weren’t aware of until after our card was charged.
