Upon getting home, 5 minutes ride, we found crease in top of truck with rain coming through. We called and LNM people came & we were yelled at for calling. Younger man tried to tell us there was “nothing wrong” “ water was from our shoes” “you dragged us here for this” “you got insurance just put on claim.” We told him since we didn’t do damage we don’t feel we should take blame by putting in claim. Insurance was added to our rental when we told older man we didn’t want it because our vehicle insurance covered us. He than ranted we should have said something earlier and we’d have to produce statements showing that. We were given ZERO run through on truck and truck only had 1/4 tank of gas. Where as Anna from Holyoke Mass Office went out of her way to make everything better. She was/is professional and parties in Vermont Office rude & made us feel like we bothered them.

JOHN FI had nothing but problems. I rented originally a 4x8 enclosed trailer with a one way reservation from Vermont to Northern Maine. After seeing my Son's moving boxes, decided to change the reservation to a 5x8 enclosed trailer. U-haul refused to allow me to drop off my trailer to a local U- Haul dealer in Machias ME. They would only allow me to drop off the trailer at a location in Bangor ME., which is 2-1/2 hours away from my home. In addition, I called several local dealers, and one in Columbia Falls would accept the trailer, which is only a half hour drive from my home in ME. Nope! Got to go to Bangor. The website gave me a $39 discount to drive it to Bangor. ( Big Deal, my Diesel truck would burn double that in the 5 hour round trip) When I got to the LNM location, they had no internet to pull up my reservation. It also appears, that Mike canceled my reservation with the discount. Luckily, I had a screenshot of the reservation, price and details. No, since it was canceled by him, by mistake, he had to start a new contract. I now get no discount, and still have to drive to Bangor ( 5 hours R/T) after driving the 7 hours from Jay VT to Machiasport ME. Add to that, all at my time, cost and wear and tear. I then notice I have two charges on my Credit card. One for the trailer rental of $270, and another for $540. Mike apparently charged me twice. U- Haul has become a nightmare. Not only are their prices ridiculous, but now they require you to do their logistics to move their equipment around at your cost, wear and tear, fuel. I felt I had a gun to my head, and was abused. I would not recommend LNM Auto to pick up your U Haul. Not even internet if you have a problem. This was a Clown show. Steer clear!
