I returned the truck the very same day because I wouldn't have had the help to return it later. I filled up the gas tank, but it turns out they charged me as if I hadn't put any gas in it.

The truck was awful, it was still dirty previous customers. It was out of alignment, there was so much play in the steering wheel that it made it hard to steer. You couldn’t take your hands off the steering wheel for fear of an accident.
karen sManager of the store was great and assisted with our problem after the return of the rental but ordered a box truck and during pick up they gave us a van. Told them 3 times we didn’t order a van we ordered a box truck and refused to acknowledge us and made us take van. Then proceeded to charge for the box truck.
Joshua BWe need a system in place to help clients who rent specific size uhauls. I had to travel to pick materials up for a small business. While traveling to areas I have never been before I obviously use a GPS system. The system took the quickest route and also helps avoid traffic by sending you other direction. While this happens the GPS systems don’t know what size vehicle I am in and since I don’t know the area it sent me in my 12 ft uhaul to a highway in Greenwich CT that has only an 8ft clearance and I was in a 12 ft box truck. This caused serious issues for me and could have been really bad for uhaul equipment itself. I don’t believe any of this is my fault but it’s easy to point the fingers at your customer/clients for these situations and then you loose these customers for good because if it. People will rent from other places like home depoit just in spit of the big company not taking some of the responsibility even with the extra paid insurance and security the clients paid for. I’m pretty upset.
