The staff personnel were very nice and the truck was clean, but the overall experience was not so good. How to improve? Don't overcharge! I arrived at 10 am for a 10 am reservation on Sept 1. Departed with U-Haul truck approximately 10:20 am (photos date-time stamped 10:18 am prior to departure). Estimated total: $65.43 including $15.00 for "Safe Move" coverage. Returned truck at approximately 4:10 pm. After waiting in line to refuel (original fuel quantity supposed to be 5/8, but actually lower at 9/16, see timestamped photos, refueled to 3/4 tank, see photos), waited in line again to process rental return. Waiting in line was not a problem in itself, but was apparently charged for another session, actual charge: $102.83 including $30.00 for "Safe Move" coverage while truck was parked in the return lot, see time-stamped photos. If I had known I would be paying for an additional 6 hour session, could have moved a lot more stuff on another day. Note to other customers: apparently the actual time that you return the truck does not count for billing purposes; what counts is when the Rental Return PROCESSING is complete inside, so if you have to wait in line to refuel, and wait in line again to finish the rental return process, waiting in line can cost you extra, even the "Safe Move" coverage is doubled while the truck is parked outside! The staff personnel were very pleasant otherwise, though. I would have rated this location as "Excellent" (five stars) on the review if not for the charge being nearly doubled. Probably a policy issue rather than staff. But I'll rent elsewhere next time...

Everything I did online had to be repeated by the employee when I got there. I had to wait 10 min while she had to repeat what I had already done. Service was friendly and very helpful and she did great!

Sheri PWhile the truck was not clean. The appliance dolly was not there for us to rent even though we paid for it. My reservation was changed to this address which made me drive further. The staff at the gas station was cheery and helpful.
melissa MI was told to put a down payment down, and after I return the U-Haul, the down payment will be returned. My down payment was not returned and every time I rent a U-Haul I fill up the gas tank and my card is still charged for gas when I get a tank it’s usually halfway or full. I put it back to where I got it. And customer service is always terrible. I will be contacting corporate.
