How U-Haul Reviews WorkCompass storage has become a little too greedy for their own good. They raise prices more than any other storage I've had or seen. My friend left this week and I'm leaving next week because they wouldn't lower their prices. It's slow season now and I have a bigger unit somewhere close paying less at least until mid summer of 2027. They'd rather have the unit sit than lower the price of a loyal well paying customer leave. As far as the U-haul, I was happy with the quoted price and it was nice and clean. When I looked at the bill this morning, they added an after hours fee of 20 bucks even though the rental was technically 24 hours if I wanted it. Wasn't mentioned or seen in the paperwork. Greedy crooks. Thank god for all the competition in the area. I used this place years ago, and it's not the same. I would definitely not use this place for anything. Go to a newer, less expensive place that appreciates your business. There was also rat droppings and roaches in the one unit I moved and the other one had the smell of mold over everything I moved. Both were in climate controlled units. Knowing how greedy these people have become, they probably shut the AC off during the evenings to get a mold smell like that. Use another storage company!!!
