The back of the van was clean, the cab was not and had garbage left in it. You should check the entire vehicle when it is returned.

Have the truck given to you with a full tank and then you return it with a full tank. Trying to guess how much gas to put in and how much the truck will use is impossible and expensive, especially with current gas prices.
