I had some trouble picking up the key and had to contact customer service. It took about half an hour to pick up the key.

I waited appoximately 40 minutes to drop off my truck at the drop off location. I had to call customer service 3 times in order to complete the transaction as a different drop off location had been put into the computer system. The customer service representative over the phone stated that I had gone to the wrong location even though i had my hard copy contract as well as 2 emails confirmations with the location printed. Then the additional km that were supposed to be applied to the account because I had to pick up at weston rd as opposed to in Burlington where I had originally requested were not applied to the account so I had to call customer service again in order to get the km applied. The entire duration the representative at the drop off location was rude, not willing to provide assistance and keep taking other customers who were standing behind me before assisting me. I had to rent this van in order to move furniture out of my deceased mothers apartment and this was an extremely stressful and disgraceful experience of quality and customer service.

I will not recommend U-Haul period, due to the fact you tried to charge me more than a reasonable rate (ie: two days insurance for a 24 hour period). Small things like that make for very unhappy customers, who pass that along.

It was a nightmare navigating the phone class needed to reserve and pick up the truck. The staff kept sending me to locations that had no fans. They were rude and abrasive. I was made to understand that I should know the schedule for other people's reservation. While in the middle of moving I received multiple phone calls that I should return the truck. When I brought it back I was charged 3 times the cost. I intend to fight it

Everything was great aside from the pot holes in the parking lot, minor problem though. It was quick pick up and quick drop off, the guy helping was very thorough and answered all my questions.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I knew that Uhaul is inefficient but this level of ghastly service is unacceptable. I initially booked a Uhaul in the Ajax location a month back and on the day of picking the move they called and rescheduled it 45 mins before the pick up time to another location in Oshawa (Taunton and Wilson). When we arrived at this location they were not even aware of this rescheduling and told us that they don't have any UHaul for us. After much pleading, requesting and then shouting they sent us to this location in Nonquon. These guys were at least courteous and empathized with us and arranged a faster pick up. The UHaul had the engine light on the whole time and was shaking while on park. Then I was charged for an additional dolly and then needed to be refunded. So overall I had to drive 30 miles more than I was supposed to drive and pay extra for UHaul messing up the reservation. There is zero communication within UHaul locations and their customer care center. I am never booking a UHaul again. This booking cost me an extra headache, stress, time and money. Just unacceptable.

my uhaul experience was horrible the guy made me wait 30 minutes when picking up the vehicle because it was slightly raining and he didn't want to get wet and then when i returned the vehicle i wasn't given my 100 dollar deposit, and then after three days of calling uhaul head office promised to mail me a cheque with my deposit im still out 100$ and seriously displeased, used to recommend uhaul all the time and at this point its unlikely i ever will

First off, not a huge factor although the parking lot has massive pot-holes all over the place and there's no designated Uhaul parking area / signs for returns. Just a big sign in the front that says Uhaul rentals. Parked the truck over to the side and completed the online return with the mileage/photos, etc (which is great) however the final step online stated to 'drop keys in the drop/key box.' After searching, there was NO dropbox at this location. Luckily, it was during the location's business hours so I walked in and let the owner know that I'm dropping off the keys inside since there was no dropbox. The owner then stated that I would have to wait and he would have to come out and do all the checks that I just completed online. All drop locations should really know the process and if there's an online drop-off available and completed, then customers should not have to wait at the counter just for the owner to do what was just done. This location advertised 24-hr dropoff which there clearly was not with no dropbox. I've used Uhaul many times before at various locations, however I would not recommend this location at all.
