I rented a double axle enclosed trailer. After stop and go traffic in Toronto, I noticed smoke coming from the driver side wheels. Called for road side assistance and the team from Markham arrived about an hour later. These service guys were excellent. They determined that the brakes were grabbing. They took off and adjusted the brakes on both sides of the trailer,whilst consulting with UHaul head office. I lost 3 hours due to this issue, but eventually was on my way and got home at 1am. I dropped the trailer off at the UHaul location in Parry Sound, where I rented it from. Asked for a refund given the inconvenience. That was June 26. I have not had a call, text or email from the store, which quite frankly is disappointing. I've left a copy of the original contract with my concerns and ask when I dropped the trailer off on June 26. Surely they could call me as it's over a week now. For the service team I must commend your team not alone did they service the brakes. But reached out to me the next morning to find out if I got home okay..just excellent service As for the store in Parry Sound , I won't hold my breath, but as a customer service advocate. I WOULD GIVE THEM A FAIL. HOWEVER THEY STILL CAN REACH OUT TO ME, ALBEIT IT'S OVER A WEEK NOW AND RESPOND TO MY ASK.
