I booked a one-way (Collingwood to Parry Sound) truck with a weeks notice. Was advised the day before that no truck was available in Collingwood. Panicked call (we had a timed move) got my one-way rental changed to a round-trip rental from Parry Sound. Parry Sound support was fine, but they couldn’t give me the $.89 rate per km that the phone agent had promised ( due to the booking foul-up). I paid double for gas and the full $1.30 per km because agent didn’t update the rate correctly. Now it’s on me to chase Uhaul. Will use a competitor next time.
