The dropoff process was a disappointing experience. I first could not understand why a very close U-Haul (Neighborhood) location was not showing up when I went through pickup process as a dropoff location. A facility 10 miles away came up instead. She couldn't explain to me why even though I've rented and dropped off at that facility many times. She ended up putting the call the 800 option when I arrive etc. on the paperwork. Yesterday morning when I arrived at that very close facility, that employee was not helpful, didn't know the system, made a call to 'the boss', and then he simply told me I had to take it 10 miles north (on the same road) to where it was designed as a return. While in the that parking lot, I called the 800 U-Haul return number on the document, they eventually told me that the facility was not excepting trailers (they only had one in the lot). I drove 10 miles north to the other facility, walked in to speak with the man at his desk and said I have a return, he said he's actually not open yet and to leave it around the side of the building. I did that, disconnected, took pictures and left. This whole experience has left me wondering if U-Haul intentionally Inconvenience me to make sure that further away facility got a trailer (they only had an auto transport trailer in the lot). By 4:15pm I still had not gotten a confirmation that my dropoff was checked in. I called that facility, a digital voicemail answered and I left a message regarding the confirmation that I hadn't received yet. About10 minutes later I received that confirmation, no call back....
