I was inside the location, as I also rent two storage units. The woman I was working with was extremely nice; she has nothing to do with the following comment. Micheal Black, the manager of Budget Mini Storage, was extremely rude and not helpful. Not only was she rude to the person she was helping, but she was also unkind and yelled at the other employee working at that location. I pointed out the fact that the U-haul app wouldn't load on my cell phone and asked for suggestions. She looked at me with a red, angry face and said, "It's Your Phone". I stated that it wasn't just my phone, but the entire area. We own a business a few blocks away, and the cell service is always an issue. She offered NO solutions as to how I could get the keys out of the lockbox (It was the 4th of July). I can say as a business owner that I would fire an employee for speaking to a customer the way she did. I understand that she's not a U-haul employee, but it should be addressed, as the experience made me not want to ever use U-haul again.
Carmen LI hate your phone app; my phone uses a virtual number and your app does not accept it. I hate your system; After dropping a big truck, when ordering another one two days later I had to go through the same DL verification. Why do you offer an account if you have to check my DL every time I rent a truck? Verry bad experience with your phone truck pick-up system. One star for that.
