I was guaranteed that I could pick up the truck at 8:30. No one was there and my ride had left. Called Uhaul and they told me the truck had not been staged for 24/7 and to wait until 10 when the office opened My ride came back 45 minutes later and we returned to the office at 9:45. Finally got the truck keys at 10:30. Folks were nice, however it would’ve been courteous to comp me for the dolly or the blankets.

Justina CVery disappointing. The tailgate was very difficult to open. It took two people to do it then the wire supports were broken meaning it was never inspected before it was sent out. The gas gauge doesn’t work and when he got it, the light came on said there was less than 50 miles on the tank. He put 8 gallons in and today’s prices that means more than the whole rental cost went. In fact it should’ve been given to him with a quarter tank in it. He made note of all these when talking to the rental clerk and nothing was done. I expect a partial refund at least. He should not have had to put that in since he only drove 30 miles and the clerk even said it should’ve never gone out. But did nothing financially to compensate him for it. That being said, we won’t rent a truck from you again. That thing should be sitting in the back lot until somebody fixes it and checks the gas gauge and make sure your employees do their job and check that before it leaves. Very disappointed. I expect to hear something Email or otherwise that we’ve gotten a partial refund.
