Ive rented alot of uhauls. This was the clerk's first time filling out the information behind the computer. While it was not her fault, I was there for an hour waiting for her to get help over the phone on how to check me in. They said my rental that I booked online did not exist so we had to create a new one and the fees where different from what I was given on my phone. They did not have 24 blankets like I wanted and booked so I took 12 and was told that it would be fixed on their end. I texted the help line and they said it would be fixed but was never fixed on my contract on my phone. It took the guy 20 minutes to find the code to the lock on the trailer and I had to help him get the trailer on my truck. I also scheduled the trailer to be returned in Yermo and was told that it could only be returned to Barstow but I called the help line during my trip and was told to return the trailer to Yermo and then got a call the next day saying I had to return it to Barstow. The annoying part is the lack of communication and the amount of time I had to waste driving to Barstow and back to Fort Irwin is nuts. The left rear tire was low but I doubt it will get checked before it's rented out again. By far, the worst experience I have had with renting trailers from uhaul.

It was hard to find.
Christina SThe license plate was off, when I asked bout it, the guy of Uhaul told me" that is not a big deal, just a license plate light", so I took the trailer to Auto Zone and change the bulb by my self for safety.

Sandra MBusiness was closed before 5:00 PM. Called number in paperwork, no answer, no message, not possible to leave voicemail. There was a spanish speaking employee leaving who told us to leave vehicle at curb and place key in overnight drop box. Drop box has a message on it with QR code to get Uhaul app for dropping key. We tried that, had major amount of trouble using it. Ended up doing a chat for support, which was moderately helpful. Also called pickup location about what to do, they were still open, and they were a bit non committal dropping the uhaul on the street curb. We could not bring in AM as we had to be on a job site. My major concern was dropping off the uhaul outside the fence and having some form of vandalism, theft, fuel siphoning, or rear end accident occuring ovcer night. Was not happy with the drop off arrangements at this site.
