Barbara misrepresented the cost to drop the hauler at a different location. Based on this, the next hour was spent looking other options that did not involve four hours returning rental the next day. Up sold insurance to my wife when I had already declined. This representative made an already challenging day considerably longer and much less pleasant.

Even though my wife and I clearly told your agent at Bypass Storage in Silver City, New Mexico multiple times that we were taking the rented 5 x 8 trailer to Owasso, Oklahoma first to drop some items and then on to Norman, Oklahoma where we live to unload then turn it in in Noble or Norman Oklahoma (her choice). she instead put Owasso, OK as the final destination on the contract which is 2-1/2 hours from our home in Norman. She also typed in our address wrong and told us we had 7 days yet put in 5 days in the contract. This resulted in our being told that an additional $40 would be charged at our drop off point. Thanks to your good agents in Noble and Norman, Oklahoma and their caring attitude the problem was solved and we supposedly did not have to pay any additional fees. We are tracking our credit card and will dispute and refuse any additional charges to it. It should not matter where a trailer or other piece of rental equipment is dropped off as there is supposed to be unlimited mileage and the charge is by the day. Correct? .I have used U-Haul several times and this is the first time I have had this sort of issues. Maybe the U-Haul application has issues? It should be a lot easier and there should not ever be any unexpected charges to the customer(s).
