I would not use this location again, the truck was completely empty and I had to put gas in without knowing how much for the distances I was travelling. There was no directives, charts or reference to guide and calling to get direction was futile from the difficulties in trying to contact customer service. When the truck was returned the attendant at the store location knew nothing about reimbursement for the extra gas that was put in the truck.

The truck I received was in terrible condition. It was extremely dirty inside, with dirt and dust all over the floor, seats, and dashboard. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned before being rented out. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning wasn’t working at all. Driving in scorching heat without AC made the trip very uncomfortable and exhausting. A rental vehicle should be clean, safe, and properly maintained, and this truck failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Overall, this was the worst rental experience I’ve had. I expected a reliable and well-maintained vehicle from U-Haul, but instead received a dirty truck with a major mechanical issue. I hope U-Haul takes better care of its fleet and ensures vehicles are inspected and cleaned before being rented to customers.

Steven DTruck was extremely dirty and the air conditioning didn't work on a day with an extreme heat and air quality advisory in place. The two gentlemen at J&S variety were very friendly and professional.
