We reserved a uhaul to pick up in Thunder Bay. Uhaul failed to meet our reservation and did not have what we ordered (1 month in advance) in Thunder Bay so had to drive 2.5 hours to this location. Customer service over the phone was not helpful. Team didn’t seem to care at all. Person said “we do not guarantee the location, the type or the date”. With this in mind there is then no point in making a reservation. I would NEVER recommend Uhaul to anyone. The local support from the Terrace Bay team was amazing! However the organization/ team of Uhaul was terrible to work with. We also heard from local staff that this type of thing (not being able to honor reservations happens all the time). Additionally app to do self check in doesn’t not function as advertised.
