I had a rental set up at a larger u haul store and received a call from u haul that you were changing my pick up location to a small independent service. when I asked why it was stated that the larger store would not have any trucks the size I requested on site. I asked for the truck from the smaller independent site to be delivered to the larger store and was told that could not happen. While driving to the small independent site I passed the regular u haul store and they had at least 8 trucks the size I wanted sitting there. From now on when I need a rental truck it will not be through u haul. The truck I had to use was not up to my standards, the doors had to be slammed hard to shut, the back door was hard going up and down very loud in the cabin while driving, and the steering was a little loose.
Dan LThought was renting directly from UHaul. It was another business that had 2 UHaul trucks. We couldn’t access the lock box. Luckily a worker showed up at the business to help us. There was no windshield wiper fluid. The UHaul app had trouble downloading pics before and after. Took us almost 45 minutes to complete everything before we completed the process we couldn’t access leave.
Tricia SI thought it was strange that the person I dropped the trailer off to didn’t look at my paperwork or provide any kind of a receipt. He just unhooked the trailer and said “You’re good to go.” I really didn’t get the chance to see the condition of his facility. I just stepped inside and told him I had a trailer to return. It was a very small place.
JOHN CI couldn’t see a sign or any building numbers from the road. I passed the drop spot three times before I parked and walked into 1414 on the door. The worker was friendly and told me to park truck in back it looked like a junkyard back there and I’m still wondering if it was the right spot. I did mobile check in and the employee was leaving for the day so I handed him the keys. I still am waiting for my final receipt because I’m concerned about this shady operation I was actually fm services. ? I wish I would have went to another location but I didn’t know because it was my first time in Toledo.
