It’s very frustrating when the rental location changes, and it’s farther away from where you anticipated. That results in longer driving times and ultimately requires more money from the customer due to payment per mile. If rental location is changed, the driver should be reimbursed or given a mileage credit because the extra driving time was not their fault.

Truck Drop-Off Was Smooth, No Problems.
David BI expected basic reliability from U-Haul, but the truck I received was nowhere close. The vehicle was extremely noisy, the driver-side door rattled constantly, and the truck felt unsafe once loaded. I needed the truck for four days but cut it short to a single day and returned it immediately after one trip because I wasn’t willing to risk a breakdown in the middle of my move. I went to a different U-Haul location in Frederick and rented the same size truck, and that one works perfectly so the issue was clearly with the original vehicle, not the model. That first-day rental was a complete waste of money. I’m hoping U-Haul will review this and reimburse me for the unsafe equipment they provided.
