This location in Salmon Creek is the most convenient I have experienced. It is quick and easy to check out equipment and check back in. I would definitely use this location again.
Derrik WSince we went on a Sunday, there were no clear instructions as to how to get the key to the van. the app didn't work to upload my information and the reservation system didn't have the information either. We had to call the site manager (Brett) who started to guide us to get the key. Fortunately, the ON SITE person presented himself (Dax) and he was gracious enough to help us out. He was super nice and helpful and knowledgeable. If Haul is going to have rental vehicle pick ups at unmanned locations, please: 1) make sure the app works and the information is loaded (I tried multiple times to load the reservation information/number, etc...) 2) have clear instruction in the email as to how to obtain the vehicle keys, 3) have the site manager be aware of how each location is set up (I wasn't sure if Brett knew how this location was set up, but he really tried hard to assist). I was mostly annoyed at the app as I tried over several days, multiple times to get my reservation loaded.
MARY UThe windshield could have used a proper cleaning. It was wiped down but had dirty streak that were visible in sunlight. Not usually an issue here in the PNW. Other than that, the van was clean and suitably maintained for a rental vehicle. The location has electronic after hours pickup and drop off options that are very helpful for someone like me who works the night shift. I will use this location for future rental needs.
