Amazing customer service. The young lady there went above and beyond to help me out. Very personable and knowledgeable. She is a future manager in the making.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about the process for me to pick up the trailer I rented.
RICHARD PThis review is not specific to this location. I was originally supposed to rent from Smithers BC, and was called 15 hours before my scheduled pick up to advise that my rental was no longer available. I had booked months in advance as this was a significant move. I was told my options were to drive 4 hours one way to pick up the truck, or to wait two days (which was not an option with my moving timeline) , drive one hour each way to pick up the U-Haul and still they advised they could guarantee a U-Haul would be there. U-Haul blamed the people who had rented the truck before me, but I feel his could have been avoided with some common sense scheduling. No option presented to me was ideal for someone doing a long move with timelines. I was offered a discount, but it still seemed very small considering the inconvenience and unreliable service.
