The process to get my reserved truck was absolutely horrendous and will be the reason I never rent from Uhaul ever again. I made a reservation a month and half prior for a pick-up for equipment for 9am in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was never called or emailed any form of confirmation. Upon arrival for pickup at 9am, I find out that the earliest potential for a truck would be 3pm. Upon requesting looking for a sooner reservation, this confirmed truck was cancelled and subsequently booked by someone else so I then lost that confirmed truck. The then closest available truck, and only available truck was a 3 hour drive away, in Wisconsin. I was forced to drive 3 hours one way to pick up a reservation that should’ve been there as contracted to be over a month prior. Wildly unprofessional and will never recommend anyone use Uhaul ever again.
