We selected our location and pick up time only to show up and be told that they in-fact did not have the truck we reserved. We had no emails or any indication that this was the case. So we had to uber to a different location that was 15 minutes away costing us additional money and also raising the km needed. When we arrived to this place your online system wasn’t working so we had to waste additional time for the employee at this grocery store to try and help up us. This put us very far behind for the day and was incredibly frustrating. We were told we could drop off the vehicle at the location we selected only for the employees there to tell us that it would be double. We told him that’s not what we were told and that we needed to leave it there. He told us the price would be double and I told him I will gladly be disputing and reporting U-Haul to the BBB. The charge then came through double what we were told and also incorrectly charged me for gas that was at the extract level it was when I picked up the van. Fuck you guys. I have only ever had negative shit experiences at this company. I will never be using your services again. Horrible job your employees are idiots at best and your business model is a scam.

I got empty fuel tank which was horrible and u haul representative was so miserable
MANRAJ MI reserved a moving truck, two hand dolly’s, and one furniture dolly ahead of time, and when I showed up the clerk only brought out one hand dolly for me. I looked at her confused, told her I reserved 2 of these, plus a furniture dolly….she didn’t seem to care that much but she went to the back to grab them, brought out the 2nd hand dolly, and said they don’t have any furniture dolly’s in stock. I was extremely upset and disappointed because I reserved these for a reason. I hope I didn’t get charged for the item they didn’t have in stock! Another note, the store opened at 9am, there were already 3 of us standing in line, waiting to pickup our truck rentals, and the clerk was nowhere to be found, she showed up late, and it took an hour to get our truck and equipment. I will not be going to this location again. And the fact that they did not keep my equipment aside (that I reserved ahead of time), what is the point of even making the reservation for equipment??
Kayleigh APerson attending was distracted by customers in the grocery store. I requested roadside assistance coverage and she did not seem to understand. I had ordered blankets and they were not provided. Poor explanation about how to register the second driver. No call to tell me where to pick up. Just an email. Was told it was available at 9 am. Picked up around 6 pm and the vehicle was “ not quite ready” as it had just been returned.
Joan WFirst of all... The website should really not allow you to choose pickup and drop off location if it's not available. It seemed like there was also some confusion in picking up the truck. I feel like I got charged gas fees unnecessarily as the truck was empty upon retrieval and we put gas in. I am not sure I will use U-Haul again
