This UHaul experience with both UHaul and Zisser was ridiculous. I had to driver further miles to accommodate my request. That cost me additional mileage to drive back and forth. It is a gated facility that does not provide weekend access for return. When I refused to pay for more days to keep the rental until Tuesday when they open, i was going to be charged for additional time. The UHaul rep did not return my calls on Friday, 9/4 to get a one time gate code to return the equipment on Sunday. I arrived Sunday to follow the in app instructions only to still need that code. I sat at the gate for 30 minutes to get calls through to the rep and get the code. It cost me more time, more money to rent a truck Friday evening to Sunday morning when the normal UHaul facility near my home was was completely full of trucks sitting in the parking lot. This was an absurd process and very frustrating. The truck had service warnings on the dash for a tire issue. I asked the Zisser employee and he said UHaul is aware and does not see it as an issue to fix. I am glad I did not have an accident with a tire blow out. The inside of the truck was not clean. Inside and outside windshield were very dirty. Floor boards have not been vacuumed in a while and trash in the driver side door.
