I rent from this location several times a year. The employees at this location are very good. My main problem is that there is never a full tank of gas in the rental. The most recent was 1/4 tank- I had to stop for gas as soon as I picked up the truck. This in unacceptable

Truck was 1/4 tank for a 1000mi trip, should have been provided at full. The first thing to do or me shouldn't be to fill up a reserved vehicle. Auto tow package had a broken taillight and it took the reps 2 hours to replace, only for it to fall off immediately on the highway causing further delay. No excuse for equipment to not be road ready for a reservation made weeks ahead of time. UHaul laziness and substandard installation led to potentially dangerous driving conditions. What if that taillight completely tore off and hit someone's windshield? Or a motorcyclist?

Overall the whole process was seamless, the only thing I would suggest is additional parking.

sorry but this store, I don't rent a car anymore, I went to deliver the car the other day, an employee, ordered me to clean the car, there were some papers on the floor .... being a client, had to clean?

I choose a van and the front desk try to give me another one smaller. He tried to charge me with extra 100 miles. The reason : he can't access Google Map from desk computer! LOL I have to use my personal phone. Nobody read the odometer. .... Be careful with them!

The customer service was great. The facility was clean however the truck was terrifying to drive. The alignment was off and I felt like the truck could go off the road at any moment. I did report this at drop off and was sure the man took it seriously. He was very receptive to my concerns. All in all the service was great......the truck was not.

These guys are top notch. I originally rented from CARS in Cromwell (do not go there, ever), when I arrived nobody was there even though posted hours said they were open, I picked it up at 9am, business hours said 8a-1p. The add-on equipment I paid for was not in the vehicle, luckily a detailer was there (working on his own car) and he was able to get me the dolly & pads. The truck was really nice though, clean and brand new, 1030 miles on it. I didnt make it 5 miles down the road before the engine started skipping, sputtering and knocking. The whole truck started shaking while I was on the highway. I got off the road & called Roadside assistance...what a joke. 40 minutes on hold. They sent a tech to look at lithe truck, he confirmed what I already knew, motor popped, engine missing on 3 cylinders. So roadside rep found another truck 9 miles away. She was going to have the tech tow the truck away, then send me a taxi OR I could try to drive it there. I opted to drive, since it was already 3pm (one full day paid for & wasted) and the taxi would take another 45 minutes to get there. I made it there, barely. When I got to West Hartford to pick up the new rental the gentleman behind the counter informed me that the truck was "down" and not useable. It was in the system as having the same problem the current truck had (the roadside rep sidelined the wrong truck) and I didnt have a contract for it in the system. After 30-40 minutes of calling around he figured out what needed to be done and wrapped it up for me, new truck & contract. As soon as I was getting in the new truck I got a text that UHaul had charged my credit card $145 for the original rental, AND (estimated) $96 for the new truck! So i called Customer Service, waited on hold for a total of 2 hours just to be passed back and forth between Roadside & Customer Service. Both departments noped out of refunding a dime multiple times. My phone died and I gave. I returned the truck today, $66 instead of $96, not bad at all... Elias & Charlie @ WH store were great. They closed 45 minutes before I got there, but opened up to check my truck in so I wouldnt have to deal with any more BS. Great guys right there, if you MUST rent from UHaul I definitely recommend that branch and only that branch. I'm currently on hold with Custoner Service to get a refund on the original rental, I'll edit if I can once that is over.

Nothing unusual! Rented a truck for one day, and I was in and out with minimum wait time. The experience was as advertised!

I believe the gentleman is named Charles but I’m not sure. He was very nice and helpful with a real positive attitude. The location is also very clean and the rental process was smooth.
