I ordered a hand truck and got a furniture dolly, then was told I may have purchased it? I also purchased 20 boxes and tape in the dispenser which barely used four boxes. Thankfully I had some good tape left at my old house.DENISE D.
I rated the pickup location as excellent. As for Uhaul as a company I will never use you again, I would rather take 10 trips with a pickup truck. I started out renting a 26' truck in Pittsfield, then being notified the day before that pick up was changed to North Hampton. I then comprised and went to a 20' in Lee Ma. On my way to Lee ( day of pick up) I was called and told to truck their either, had to go to Westfield. Your company is a complete joke and when I called to complain to the 800 # I talked to a girl her sounded like she was still in High school and she gave me attitude. My suggestion is that if you allow customers to hold on to their truck longer you should explain that to the customer who is next in line for that truck and tell them no guarantee your truck will be available. Do not lead them on then at the last minute tell them that you have no truck.Stephen R.

The truck I rented was not sanitized what's do ever I called customer service the women was very rude the guy that rented truck to me was like if u bring truck back when I'm here I will give I 10.00 off I'm wasn't not keeping truck til late in day I had to bring it back cause need a ride this is very concerning especially with covid won't rent from that location or possibly uhaul again. I have never met a more rude customer service employee in my life. The general manager Jaron Turner was absolutely unprofessional and down right RUDE. He didn't greet me when I came in nor did he even look at me while speaking with me. I can't even believe he is a manager of the store. I dealt with a Tyler the day prior to book my initial reservation who was very professional, kind and helpful. I think the company needs to evaluate who they put in managerial positions. The experience overall was unpleasant and I would NOT recommend U-Haul in Westfield, MA.DONNA M.
I was charged for 1.5 gallons for fuel for a 7 mile rental !! ??? Not happy about that. When I returned with my rental, I waited with the vehicle as instructed for 15 minutes with no response !!!! I then went into the store and waited again for 15 minutes until somebody finally appeared!! ????? Not happy about that... My 19.99 plus .59 per mile ended up costing just about 35.00 with taxes additional fees etc..... For a rental that I kept for 45 minutes and 7 miles....The only reason I would recommend this location to a friend is because it is the game in town.....ROBERT J.

I had ordered an appliance dolly along with the pick-up truck. When I got to the location, the dolly was not there. I contacted the U-Haul 800 number and they advised that I wait for store to open (15 minutes) When Technician arrived, he did not have keys to get into office. I had to alter my plans and make an extra trip back to the Location to pick up a dolly an hour later which meant more mileage on the truck and extra time. I should have been offered some sort of discount either on the mileage or the cost of the appliance dolly. Rental agent at store was not concerned. He spent time on his personal phone while dealing with me. Check out was uneventful. Same agent, same attitude.Stephen W.

We were charged too much mileage we win 5.4 miles one way which is 11.8 miles round trip where we charge 21 miles round-trip the person in the store was very rude so I asked her to speak to the manager and then I started yelling at him and then he yelled back at me and we didn't get any issues resolved and I still think you owe us moneyALLAN P.
I thought that I booked the rental one way and i had to return the truck in Victor NY. Turned out the truck i rented was an intown truck and I had to return it to the Westfield MA store. They told me it would be an extra $700 to drop it off there. They would not recognize that there was a glitch and i had to ruin my holiday plans to return the truck to Westfield. There needs to be better communication of the contract. i told the representative that released the truck to me what i was doing and there was no red flags that there was a contractual mistake. the contract was very vague and only had the mileage estimate and fuel level of the truck, so i didn't see a problem until i got to the victor store. I will be much more careful next time.BRIAN B.
