Truck I reserved wasn’t available, employee didn’t know how to do U-Haul reservations, had to go through corporate and it took 45 minutes to get the truck. Major inconvenience. Truck was dirty with trash and had broken glass in the back
Lauren FI had a reservation to drop off the truck at another location and U-Haul changed the drop off location without my consent because all locations were full in my area. I was told that I had to take the truck an hour away in the opposite direction I was traveling. I had to make several calls to corporate and local representatives and nobody could do anything about it and I would be charged 3-4 times the reservation amount if I leave it at the location stated on my contract (Rehoboth Beach Rt 1). I had to suggest other towns in the direction I was traveling and the closest one was 2 hours away. It cost me a quarter tank of gas and $8.00 in tolls. I was treated poorly and found it unacceptable.
