The trailer rented should not have been rented, it had not been inspected. The trailer was rented in Arkansas traveling to Tennessee. The tired blew up on the trip back , literally blew up and after the loud thunder sound the entire back tire was in flames . We had to immediately pull over and evacuate the SUV, that was pulling the trailer with the Jeep. Flames were blazing high for a while until the fire department was called and dispatched to the scene. We were told by DOT to get all vehicles off the highway for safety . Long story short we went down a couple exits after calling for U-Haul to come and pick up the damaged trailer we went back into Nashville to a U-Haul to get a replacement trailer , loaded up and headed West to home . What should’ve been a four hour trip was literally nothing shy of six in a half hours . An awful, awful experience.
