The steps needed when you get the confirmed reservation are confusing and unclear. It gives a link for online check-in. I took that to mean you do this when you get the trailer. Doing that screwed up the whole experience and not long after, I got an email accusing me of stealing the trailer. It might be better on the reservation to have a link that tells you to do it when you check out the trailer. This makes much more sense. This experience ruined the whole day and took an hour out of my move time. It was so frustrating on a hot and humid day. A rep was able to help me straighten it out. I do recommend that you make your confirmation emails more clear with steps that make sense.

Lavonda CI had a U-Haul gift certificate to pay for my one way rental. The lady at the desk had to right away in form me that she is not affiliated with u-haul at that store and they do not take or accept gift certificates from u-haul cause they are like cash. She said that office building does not accept cash payments. But we bought a padlock and paid $11 in cash to her for the padlock. She lied. So I had to call u-haul to have them walk her through which she gave push back to Mike on the phone after I talked to him about what was going on and she finally took the gift certificate. She was rude and not polite. I have never seen a u-haul place so anti -customer experience.
