I am extremely concerned about this pickup/drop-off location and strongly urge you to remove it from your list of approved locations. The area was extremely isolated, appeared abandoned, and looked more like a dumping site in the middle of nowhere than a legitimate customer pickup or drop-off location. It was honestly frightening and looked like something out of a movie where someone could be attacked or even murdered. To make matters worse, we were put in a situation where we became stuck at the location. The ASM/owner of the location told us that we had two options: either pay him $100 to tow us out or contact a towing company ourselves, which he said would cost approximately $700. Being stranded in such an isolated and unsafe location while being presented with those two options was extremely stressful and made an already frightening situation even worse. As a customer, I should never have been placed in a situation where I felt genuinely unsafe simply trying to pick up or return a vehicle. This was an incredibly scary, stressful, and unacceptable experience. I am asking that this location be immediately investigated and removed from your system so that other customers are not put in the same potentially dangerous situation. I would also like an explanation as to how this location was approved for customer pickups and drop-offs, why customers are being directed to such an unsafe area, and what will be done to address what happened to us. Given the circumstances, I am also requesting that this matter be escalated and that I receive an appropriate refund or compensation for the distress and inconvenience, associated with this experience.

You cannot see the location from the road. There is no office no where to go in it literally just looks like a deserted piece of land with a bunch of junky old cars and trucks

ASHTON NWe needed the uhaul, and live in ontario. We had to drive out to Yermo. We did not receive a prorated charge or discount for that. It was very inconvenient, having to drive out almost 2 hours away from our city. When we were checking the truck out the young man was sitting in the truck with the truck running blowing the ac on while me and my husband stood in the heat . There was not the equipment that I requested to rent in the truck, so I had to stop to pick it up a actual uhaul location. This was alot of time lost. And still paid the full price; so it was not beneficial to my wallet or time.
