Worst service ever!!! Red Apple Market -U-Haul in Abbotsford is the worst place to ever rent a truck from. The lady behind the counter is the rudest person and has absolutely no clue that she is. It was impossible to give zero stars but I would give negative stars in this case. She treated other customers horribly as well. She said she ‘preferred’ for my friends credit card to be charged. I said no, I would rather pay myself. She then replied that debit is not allowed in the system. Does she even understand what is implied by a preference? A choice is implied but with this lady, she did not want to accept debit or cash and ‘preferred’ the credit card. When I expressed myself she got into a screaming match with me. I told her how she was rude to every customer that came in while we were there for 30 minutes. Her response? “What, you expect me to be laughing like hahaha with everyone?” I said no, I would expect you to be pleasant! I told her that I am in customer service with the federal government and she would be fired by day 2. In the end she tried to apologize with a dirty look on her face at me. I told her ‘You don’t look sorry’ and I left. She told my friend she never wants me back there ever again. Don’t worry lady! I will never go back to your store not even if I was starving and not even if I was paid. Horrendous service by someone who belongs in a career as a prison guard than a customer care position. Truck was crap, mirrors would not adjust, radio was giving issues and found a big huge knife on the front seat.

This company is a load of shit. The advertising on 19.95 is crap. Paid 140 in the end. Will never recommend this place to anyone and never use them again. Misleading and a waste of people time.
Christian BThe truck broke down on my wayback to store. It was a Sunday and I had follow up reservations for my moving. I called roadside assistance and was told I have to stay with truck till someone arrives. They took their sweet time of 90 minutes to arrive. Then another 40 min. to arrange an uber back home coz there was misunderstanding on driver's part about location. All in all, 3 hours of my crucial moving time were spent on this and had to lose money on followup reservations too. Only if the truck had not broken down. It could be an unforeseen mechanical fault but still I lost time and money.
