This location was a new dealer. She was very professional and apologetic while trying to navigate thru the check out process. Im not exactly sure what the issue was but took us nearly a full hour or better to finally leave with truck with a loooooooong night ahead. To the last question I answered neutral. Think it was a training issue out of her control.

Continued. Previous sent by a wrong touch!!! I drove back to the store front and told her .I could not check the lights alone. She came out, verified my actions and walked back in. This lady NEEDS help, unless they do not rent Uhaul any longer!!

The personnel didn't seem to know how to do anything. I had prepaid online, but they kept getting some sort of error message on their computer every time they tried to get me checked out. Took quite a while before they figured it out.

A: the tongue on the 1st trailer needs replaced. The woman kept insisting our ball was the wrong size. My husband is a heavy-equipment operator/truck-driver. He's qualified to make the statement that there's something wrong with the trailer hitch. B: took over an hour to get a trailer and we had reserved one because we didn't have much time. C: we were quoted $29.99 for 24 hours. D: returned the trailer at 22 hours and was told "that will be $45.99". w.h.y? "Because there was a blanket/dolly on there." We never asked for or used the blanket or dolly. It was just in the corner and we were LATE getting out of the parking lot yesterday. E: took 45 minutes to return the stupid thing and she argued and argued trying to get an extra $15. Seriously? Oh...and the trailer that needs the hitch fixed is still sitting in the same spot. It needs fixed. It will come off of someone's hitch and possibly hurt somebody. It was not our ball...we carry several different sizes and we had the correct size. We will not ever use that u-haul location again. My husband is perturbed ... and he gets around and if someone needs a trailer, he will quietly suggest you use somewhere else. Sorry. Day 1 ... could be a bad day. Day 2 ... it's a pattern of shady business.

The lady who helps us was rude and seemed overwhelmed with her job. It took almost an hour for us to pick up the uhaul because she kept stopping to check other customers out since it was in a gas station. But all she did was complain while helping us and other customers that's she was the only one there and the owners need to get her help on Sundays.

The site on US 223 IMP in Michigan was ridiculous WHAT A WASTE OF TIME major computer or user problems damn near a hour there then they say they can't rent it. went to the above location out in 10 min

Got there right at open, 8am. Needed to be back at 9 to pack (lots of people coming). Took 45min to get out of there... Attendant was nice, but couldn't get into the computer system for 20min. Truck was frozen shut. Mileage on truck was 100mi past contract, so we went back in and the attendant didn't know what to do, so he just wrote in pen on the contact and initialed. I drove off and he called me telling me he forgot to hand me the contract. Then the headache began... Called an hr later to verify mileage would be accounted for, I was told it would be. Dropped it off that night, called the next morning and verified AGAIN mileage was accounted for. I was told it was. Then I was billed for the WRONG extra mileage... Had to call again to get it taken off, which it thankfully did. Also, prior to this location, I rented a 20' truck 8 days in advance. 2 days before pickup was told it wasn't in... so frustrating. He offered to upgrade to a 26', which is FAR more than I needed. I accepted. Next day (1 day before pickup) I called again to see if a 20' came in. It didn't but he said I could grab one at a location 20min away, I verified. He said I'd be called to verify that day. At 7pm I still had not been called so I called them to set it up. Overall, my experience was underwhelming and the lack of organization in the company is frightening.

This comment is not about the Addison location, it was fine, but its about my choice of location. I chose Hillsdale, MI, not Addison, but no one told me that they didn't have my truck. I went to the Hillsdale location to find out that my truck was in Addison. I had to drive 30 miles out of my way to get the truck, and I was told in my email from UHaul that I would get a call if my pickup location was different than what I chose. NO ONE CALLED OR EMAILED ME TO LET ME KNOW. It was VERY INCONVIENANT for me to have to do this. I would like a call from UHaul to discuss this. Regards, Mark Marshall 269-352-9398

I WAS OVERCHARGED FOR MY AGREEMENT ..DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE TRUCK WAS NOT READY FOR ME AT ADDISON MIKE SUPERVISOR SAKED ME TO PICK UP AT HILLSDALE , AND WOULD WAVE ALL EXTRA FEES BECAUSE OF MY INCONVIENCE ...THE BILL WAS PAID AT PARNEYS FOR $ 50.00 WHEN WE RETURNED THE TRUCK I TOLD THE GIRL THAT CKECKED ME IN NOT TO CHARGE FOR EXTRA MILES ...WEEK LATER MY VISA CARD WAS CHARGED $ 43.06 WITHOUT MY CONCENT....THIS IS WRONG ..PLEASE CREDIT MY ACCT AS YOU FEEL NESSECARY..JIM EARL 419-215-5504
