No one was there. Even though the website and the sign on door said there open.
Robert DCharged me twice 52 dollers the first time. Then 3 days later another 50.on top of it the battery on the truck died. Next time charge one amount not twice cause that's never happend before
Michael GInitially got charged for a second day. Had to call to tell them I had it back on time the night prior and they did remove the extra charge.
Tony WThis was one of the more horrible rental experiences I have ever had and I will be making this point on every review site I can find on the the internet. I NEVER give bad reviews on the internet, but this will be my future main mission. First, I call the rental location because I had down 9am, but planned to be there by 10am (but not drop off later than my original drop off time). I call twice and have to leave a message as no one picks up, even though it is during their work hour (after 9am). I get an email from uhaul saying i did not pick up and would soon be charged a cancellation fee as the dealer never moved the time back per my messaged (because they were not there). i spend time calling uhaul to move pickup timbe back and arrive at the pickup location. No one is there at 10:30... Uhaul can email me to threaten a cancellation fee, but can't bother to email saying the place i am going is desolate and i will need to use a code to get into the truck. I call uhaul and they give me a code to get into the vehicle. it is sheer ice with 3" of slush all around the truck. Feet are soaked, but whatever, i get into the truck and try to leave. Almost get stuck, as the lot is sheer ice and slush, but do get out of there. Gas tank is at 3/4 full. Truck is ok and we use it for the move. We drove about 80 miles so i added 4.5 gallons. I try to return it, but we recieved a bit more snow, but no one cleaned up. I can pull my car out barely, but good luck driving the big truck up a bit of a hill and into place. These things are useless in the snow and I am able to pull off the road, but immediately it gets stuck, so it will sit there. I wade through the wet slush (that has sheer ice under it) and promptly slip and land on my back and elbow. Now i get to deal with being soaked and reviewing my elbow for a chip. it is seriously messed up.... Then i get home to see that Uhaul /TJ custom service says the truck was at 7/8 tank (which is bull). Then i get the new bill and I used the truck 84 miles (correct) and they charged me for 7 MORE gallons! So either this 10 ft truck get 7.3 miles to the gallon (84 miles / 7 +4.5), (the website says it gets 12) or I was screwed. If you are not going to take care of your lot for customers to use, then do not rent vehicles. I plan on posting this info everywhere I can as i wish i would have understood how Uhaul and this place do business prior to renting. I will use a different solution in the future and make sure everyone i can contact is aware of how Uhaul does business.
