Ive love renting uhaul car trailers, they are usually well kept, easy to load and easy to pull so I sold my personally owned car trailer years ago with the intention of only using Uhaul trailers. To start, I reserved my trailer months in advance. I received a text the day before i was to pick it up saying it was ready but when i arrived to pick it up the next day I was told my reservation didnt exist and the trailer they had on the lot was unavailable. These places that sell sheds and rent trailers shouldnt even exist. they do not even look at the trailers. they have no interests in giving any kind of customer serrvice. After an awkward discussion he re-entered my reservation and gave me the trailer. This trailer was complete garbage. When i got home i realized the drivers side drop down fender was bent upward, barely closed and the front latch was completely missing, but worse than that, the brake reservoir was completely empty so I filled it with DOT3 fluid hoping for the best but no... the brakes didnt work AT ALL! to add to it, the tires were all miss matched and at different stages of wear. And the right tail/brake light was out. It was the worst trailer rental experience ive ever had. made me wish i hadnt sold my car trailer. I use your trailers to tow my show car, so I need a trailer i can trust. It would also be nice to have the confidence in being able to stop the trailer when needed. Id say do better but I dont see that happeneing.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkNo one was at the location. When I called the number it was some Pastor from some church. Did not get a call back. I don’t know if that was his side hustle business or what would not recommend it. Not only that, but from the location in new Wellington, South Carolina to the place that U-Haul had me drop it off. I passed at least 10 other U-Haul places half hour one-way half hour back when I could’ve dropped it off two minutes from my destination, pretty poor.

Tabitha BThe U-Haul App is awful. Had a terrible time trying to upload pictures, eventually had to call for help to bypass that and get the truck rented. This was just a day rental. A few weeks ago my wife rented a truck for a cross country trip and we had similar difficulties with the app then. We were at a physical dealer location at that time and they cold not even help.
