Extremely poor customer service. I arrived at 10:15 AM to a line of people out the door. There were no issues with my reservation, thankfully, but every other person seemed to have issues. One man did a mobile reserve and the employee issued this man's truck to someone else and told him that they don't do mobile orders and he'd have to wait in line. When I returned the truck after driving a total of 12 miles, I was told that I had to pay an additional $8.50 because "it's not exactly on full" and that the next customer might be upset. Completely unprofessional service and I will not be using them when I come back to the area in a few months.

If you looked up "sketchy area" in the dictionary I'm pretty sure you'd get a picture of this location. I'd never recommend this to a friend or even to an enemy.

This location is the worst location I have ever been to for a Uhaul. I had my reservation changed here due to not being able to get a 15' truck at any other nearby locations. Upon arriving there was a long line of people waiting to get their Uhauls. Talking to people in the line all sorts of mishaps were happening including one guy who used mobile check-in to check-in to his vehicle, only to have the Uhaul people give his keys to another guy who drove off. Their response was that they don't do mobile check-ins, even though he had the option to do it that way. I also had the option but preferred to check-in in store, and clearly for a good reason. The truck I received was very dirty, both inside and out. The outside had an obnoxious amount of mud caked onto the truck. Luckily, I don't care about aesthetics when I move, but as I drove it off the lot I could feel the mud falling off of it and hitting the wheels. The inside of the cabin, as I discovered too late, had what appeared to be various kinds of frosting on the floor. I'm guessing someone dropped a donut or two. I put my bag on the ground not seeing or expecting frosting to be there and it got everywhere. It would have been easy enough to take a paper towel to and clean up beforehand. I would not recommend this location to get your Uhaul at. There are many better options in the area.

I was lied to about my mileage and gas usage. I really wish I took a picture of both before I left and learned a HUGE lesson. We paid for gas and still was charged not brining it back at the correct amount and truly did. We were told when we left that the gas was actually over the amount that the record said it was and we added gas as well and still were charged. Also the mileage was incorrect, we traveled less than told but I had no proof. I won’t ever go to that location again and honestly may never use U haul again after this experience. He also tried to change us for equipment that we didn’t use. Worst experience ever.

Much too small for the number of rentals they handle. Friendly service, but slow. Dirty office that’s not customer-friendly. Also, the parking lot is difficult to enter and exit, especially with a truck.

Pick up location is out of the way and in a crowded part of town. I reserved a 20 truck with a specific pick up site in mind only to be told last minute that my truck was at this address. It may only be 5 miles but in Washington DC that took my commute from 7 minutes to 35 one way - adding an unwanted hour to my pick up time.

This was my first time using Uhual in many years. Staff was unprofessional and unprepared to assist the customer. My scheduled pick up was 10:00 a.m. and did not leave until noon. On top of that, I was not informed that I would need a tow hitch and had to spend another $50.00 to purchase one (double the cost of the actual rental!). I will NEVER return to that place again, PERIOD.

We were overcharged. We were charged for 6 days instead of one, including the insurance. Our mileage waqs overcharged as well; we had estimated about 60 miles because we thought we needed to take two trips to our location, but only took one trip. We were still charged for 58.9 miles, which in this case is impossible. So even though the before and after mileage was listed on the bill, we think it was ginned up.

On a very hot day, no A/C in this office. I appreciated being able to keep my car on the lot overnight, that was helpful. Hard to maneuver around the lot due to it being shared with several other businesses. Friendly employee helped me unhook my trailer.

I scheduled to pick up a 15 foot at Columbia pike at 7 a.m. and they sent me to this location with just an email notification. I came at 7 and found this branch is not operating until 10 a.m. I waited there for 3 hours and they told me they did not have my record and asked me to call the main office. It took me half an hour to finally connect to the main office, and they said I had a reservation at 2 p.m. What the heck?! I put local uhaul people on the phone so they were convinced that I can pick up a truck at 2 p.m. I Ubered back home and came back at 2:00 they told me there was no available truck, while I had all my furniture moved outside my apartment. I waited another one hour until a couple returned a non-local 15 foot. I wasted half a day because of Uhaul's poor management system, very disappointed. Please DO NOT OVERSELL your trucks!

Wish uhaul corp. Customer service would answer the phone or online chat. Couldn't pay my bill waited 20 mins on live chat for someone to respond, nothing. Called and waited 37 mins and never got an answer.
