We asked for a 10' truck and they did not have one at our pick up location. They only had a 15', which was too big for our load and more expensive on gas.

I was charged for truck coverage without my consent. I specifically told the attendant I did not want the coverage but when I returned the truck my bill included the charge. I was told that since a different person processed the transaction that there was nothing that could be done to correct the charge. I was not asked to review or sign the U-Haul contract.

The employee does know how or can't remember company policy. Out of the three occasions I have used this facility I have been cursed at and insulted. He was absent during normal business hours. Rude and disrespectful.

My vehicle was not available where I selected and had to drive 20 mins to pick it up. Fortunately, the rental agent offered to drive it back for me when I was done.

The person who rented the equipment to me was not helpful, hard to understand, and dismissed my basic desire to read my contract before signing it. When he was entering the information into his computer, he would repeat back the wrong numbers on purpose (I would say 95667 and he would repeat back 92857, but enter in 95667 on his computer). I will say that while I had reserved a 20' truck, the person bringing it was late. He called them (after I got there 30 mins after it was due) and told them I was upset and was waiting for the truck. He gave me a 15' instead of having to wait for the 20' to arrive whenever that person decided they were going to return it. If you can avoid this location, do it.

The gentleman that helped me was extremely rude and condiscending. I don't like being yelled at for asking questions like "can I drop the equipment off at any location?" very poor customer service. Granted, I don't expect much going into a vehicle equipment rental shop, but I don't appreciate being treated in this manner.

The equipment was clean, but one of the tires was low and did not notice until we got home. We put air in it and it held until our destination. We reported at the drop off location.

The truck itself was fine, we didnt have a problem with it. However...the two older men that work there were a little rude. Specially one of them that made some rude coments during my check in. When my fiancé and I both gave him our driver's licence he saw that where we were moving to was my hometown so he turns to my fiancé and he asks him; "Why are you moving there? Its a horrible place, theres nothing good there" and then the one that really made me feel uncomfortable was at the end, when he was about to hand us the key he asked who was driving, I said that he would (my fiancé) and then he said "oh thank God!" Like what is that supposed to mean?! I honestly feel like he said all of those things because I was a woman. It was unfortunate uhaul had to switch my pick up location.

I had reserved a Dolly trailer over the phone through your national phone center. We were sent to 4 different stores before we found this one store on Paoli St. When we arrived at the uhaul store There was NO Dolly. Only a car haulerTrailer. We were unknowing but believed we would be getting the car trailer for the same price $228 as the Dolly. Not the case and the salesman didn't even tell us until we had the trailer attached to our tow vehicle and the car we were hauling on the trailer. THAT was bad. THEN when I went to pay $448 for the trailer and the salesman ran our visa card and told me I was $75 short(he said my visa card wouldn't allow) and I had to pay cash. I reached over the counter and looked at the screen. He was trying to weazel an additonal $75 cash. He then asked if I was Jewish!!! NONE of his business!!! Terrible Experience!!!!!!! I might add he didn't treat the other two people waiting any better. I would also like to ADD that I called to reserve this Dolly. The telephone operator sent me to a place I had already called (they said they didn't have a dolly) and assured me they did. Then I was sent to ABC Uhaul In Fairfield, The Manager WAS Super Helpful (they didn't have a dolly or a trailer either) he called ahead to this Paoli address and was assured by the Paoli guy that they had a dolly(which was a LIE) I might also add we were headed from Fairfield, Ca to Clackamas, Oregon a 9 hour drive. We had been running around Fairfield and American Canyon looking for a trailer for over 2 hours. That made the trip a 12 hour journey. Pathetic!!!

The trailer was NOT at the site NAPA GAS. I had to go to another town, American Canyon. This was out of my way and a definite inconvenience. I could have planned for the extra time required if this was where I had intended to reserve the equipment, not to mention I had to return it to American Canyon when finished. Not happy.

I never respond to surveys in a negative view. I usually only respond if I am a happy customer. For this typical experience, I decided to. First, I would love to know if this response reaches UHAUL CORPORATE and not just the renting location. The associate was VERY rude. Upon arriving, he seemed friendly. He asked if I wanted to rent as dolly. I did not respond immediately. I was thinking of which Dolly I truly needed. It was even a lapse of 20 seconds when he said.. "Can you hurry up, There are other people waiting." Keep in mind, the other couple that walked up was only waiting a couple of minutes. I did respond to tell him that he did not have to be rude. I have been a Supervisor in an Electronics Company for past 11 years. As workers on the other side, we typically will get frustrated at customers. But not once did I give him the reason to speak to me that way. I am STILL VERY upset with his unprofessional manner. Like I said, it wasn't even 20 seconds and he got rude just because I couldn't make up my mind within 20 seconds which dolly I wanted. I declined on the Dolly and any extra products he offered. This man truly should not be in this business. Especially if he is representing the company.
