When I went to pick up the van, their computer system was down & they were going to call me if it came back up to let me know when I could come get my rental. They did direct me to go ahead and try to complete the check in myself through the app & this seemed to work. However, I had set aside this particular day to move, asked someone to help me who had also set aside specific time to help me move & there was a rainstorm coming later in the day. If I had not been able to move on the scheduled day, I would have had to pay another month's rent at my old apartment. You need to have a back-up way to do this if computer systems are down. You can't just turn customers away because you're having problems with your computer system. The office says this happens to them frequently and especially on Saturdays! Good grief! I will be going with a different moving service in the future.
