In Avondale Arizona a little blonde headed girl assisted me I paid for the 15 foot U-Haul we went to retrieve it and able to find it she ask Yard-Man informed us it's on the east side of the buildings ready to go she informed me to look it over check the mileage and gas and sign I said well it's a little under a half a tank she says no on the paperwork it's a half and I said we'll look at it I took a picture of that and the mileage, so marked on the paper initial and inform her do you see the big crack in the windshield they're up to Center apparently the guy did not look at this vehicle because window had about a 12 inch crack in the center of the windshield I inform here if you had another 15 foot U-Haul because by law and not supposed to rent this out to anyone without being fixed first she for me rude very rude take it or leave it so I had no choice but to keep it she went in the office and came out with the little round sticker have an x on it and told me to put it on the crack which my journey 250 miles when I arrive in Kingman on Andy Devine the crack spread it for more inches be on it I have pictures of that, the gentleman and Kingman it was very cordial so he came from California told me his name is Leon but on his right forearm and said might he said his name was Mike so I don't know what his real name is very very helpful you're lucky to have him if I ever dealt with U-Haul and I had to do it it would be with somebody like that guy he's going to reimburse my $40 my U-Haul was junk it was Poppin all the way all over the road front end it was terrible shape they gave me their junk and it was a preventative maintenance a p.m. that need to go from Phoenix to Kingman so she gave it to me she had plenty of 15ft U-Hauls in the yard I seen them. I went from Lake Havasu to Kingman with 150 lb in side of it it took $30 to go 60 miles and I was terrible on gas so Mike said he's reimbursing me the $40 for all the hiccups and a very cordial I like that.

Well I rented a car dolly as well and I told him it's for my F150 Ford 2000 model it didn't even fit on it. I didn't finish filling the U-Haul until 8:30 p.m. so I had my nephew drive the truck behind me while I pulled an empty dolly. I got in Golden Valley Arizona informed the lady at U-Haul about it she did not care I brought it in 2 days early or prorate she did not give it or care I even had it on a quarter tank when I got it on empty she did not care she said call corporate. I'll never deal with U-Haul again poor experience and Avondale a lady was rude to me here in Golden Valley rude to me sounds like complacent or just pure ignorance who knows

The cab had a powerful smell of air freshener - attempting to mask the smoking odor that was still present. Had to drive with the windows open and breathing through my mouth. The pickup and drop off were smooth with the exception of the rep misreading the gas-gauge at ¾ vice ? actual when dropped off - asked if I wanted to pay for the gas - and I pointed out that the gauge was slightly above where it was when I took possession. Friendly staff.

The pickup location did great. My feedback is related to the drop off information we received. We called customer service and was told that we could drop off the Uhaul at any location. Via the app I chose a location close to my home. I needed to drive to Avondale and found the nearest Uhaul and attempted to drop it. I was told that I couldn't drop it there and there would be a $50 fee for dropping it at a different location. The attendant printed my contract and It did not even show the original drop off location I chose. I was not happy. I ended up calling customer service again and the drop off location was changed by one of your reps. The recovery was done well and overall I am happy.

Had to pull my dolly to the truck that was in the side lot and load it myself. I originally made my reservation at another location but they did not have the size I needed and was transferred to this location. They were rude and not helpful. Never going going back!!!

Order was not ready for boxes and supplies like the confirmation stated. I was charged for them and am still waiting on the refund. Long wait and one girl working there was not familiar and used that as her excuse. She blamed us for the order not being ready. There were employees in the back disinterested in helping. U-Haul does not offer customer service with people. Don’t rely on their systems, it will be your responsibility to get your refund from franchises.

Had trailer back before 5pm the next day like the lady at the front desk said to. But they still charged me for another day. If the trailer was to be back before 5 so a late fee ( another day charge) was added to bill she should have said so.

Location was closed so I dropped off. They over charged based on transposing the mileage - correct 109562 not 109652. I have a photo of the dash (per instructions from guy on the help line) to document when I dropped off. If you want, I can provide you a copy.

I was a little concerned about the after hours drop off. It seemed to be an unsecured area where someone could steal the Dolly after I dropped it off and I would be held respnsible.
