I returned the UHAUL on September 19, 2026. I picked the UHAUL up at 8:30 a.m. and returned it by 5:00 p.m. the same day. On September 23, 2026, I received an email telling me to bring the UHAL, the appliance dollie and the standard dollie back to the rental place. I called and informed the UHAUL company that I did return the UHAL and both dollies on September 19, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. The UHAUL was signed back in to the Company. I finally received the extra money back on to my credit card on September 25, 2026. My experience was very disappointing.

Junior EI was charged for after hours service fee, which I was never disclosed we needed to pay. Then also were charged fuel for 4 gal when we were in town and drove mess than 5 miles. The receipt we received and the paper we got when rented doesn’t even show the gas gauge moving. Also the truck was filthy, the chord for the hand truck was chewed up and smelled like it had dog slobber all over it. We needed to go through customer service to get an updated receipt and the location took forever to check us in while someone was smoking cigars in the next room causing my asthma to flare. This was a horrible experience and feel like we are being overcharged. It feels like we are being penalized for bad practices of the location.
