Was informed mby other employee that this site closed at 6 pm. Needed to drop truck off here. Other closed at 4pm. Arrived at 505 pm. Because employee was off the clock she could not or would not help. Advised us to check-in on line use drop box. Key was & is to large to fit it slot. After 20 min got truck checked in on line and no code for lock. Keycwas forced into slot. Not happy told incorrect time, not told to check online when rented vehicle in person. Drop box should be attached to building with clearer instructions.

The after-hours key dropboxes are confusing. There are apparently 3 dropboxes, 2 of which have padlocks, but that are unlocked and the codes are visible to anyone walking by. Thus, if I placed my key in the box and scrambled the code, anyone who already knows the code (i.e., people that live in the neighborhood, vagrants, etc.) could open the box and take the key. Very strange. The 3rd box is the large box that people use to pay their storage unit fees, but it's marked "Emergency U-Haul key dropoff" - which is weird, since it's not an "emergency" (it's just a regular after-hours dropoff), and it's kind of hard to get the key in the slot because it's narrow, but that's where I put my key. I hope they get it. Also, no one answered the after-hours phone number, so that wasn't helpful.
