Everything was great. The only complaint would be returning the van. There was no where to park the van. There was several cars and people there for the food truck, I waited for as long as I could and even called U-Haul for guidance. So I just left the van blocking other trucks and vans. But other than that it was a pleasant experience.

The overall cost was very high. All in all $120 for a small van to do 41 miles!!! I dont understand what the millage charge is for if im also paying for the gas???? I was charged $1.39 per mile AND bring it back with gas as it was picked up. NOTE: the carefully worded question here asks me to rate the location: "How would you rate this location overall?". The location was ideal for me but the cost was not. Hence the 3 stars. This is not indicative of the location or the staff there who were very helpful.

was charged $131 instead of suggested $50-60 + was charged $25 even if i never ever in the last 15 years wqs charged cleaning fees plus we returned car clean in just 4 hours. i was really pissed off by this charge

My original reservation was given to someone else and I had to go to a different location farther away from my place to pickup a truck. Even with a reservation, I had to waste 1 hour of my time before I actually got a truck.

Self check out SUCKS. The process is clunky and took almost an hour. Also, just advertise all the costs. Don’t advertise 1/4 of the price, than add all the bullshit on. Just say what it is and people will accept it and not feel ripped off. Idiot sketchy senior management in charge of that nonsense should be rooted out. The system needs transparancy and clarity. Freakin stop the bullshit shell game with the pricing.

My original reservation was at NorCal Power Sports, but when I arrived, the key for self check in wasn't there. The reservation was made over a week prior to my arrival! The other location was much better, but the trucks were parked so close together that only a thin person could get inside. I am lean, and still, I got bruised up from the experience. I would give the entire experience a poor rating, if it had not been for the great customer service I received from the staff at the second location on Park Road. And...I will NEVER use the self-check-in option sucks!! Some experiences still need human-to-human interaction.

I rented a uhaul van today and using the van went fine. I ran in to trouble when I came home and found out, when I saw my email receipt, that the man who punched in how many miles I drove punched in the wrong number and charged my credit card for driving 80 miles when I only drove 7 miles. This was very frustrating for me. I spoke to the man on the phone about being charged on my credit card for miles I did not drive and he apologized, and he then prompted me to call his supervisor/manager who could credit my account. I called the supervisor right away and she did not answer the phone, so this issue is still not resolved. I am hoping to hear back very soon from the manager so I can get my money back.

I had a pretty poor experience with one person in your office, who was short, rude, and came across as if she didn't care about my reservation, what I was told, or what happened to cause a difficult situation with an extension on the rental by Any Car Services. I recommend that you listen to the recording of our call from Thursday, 7/6, about 2:00 pm. I made an initial reservation the UHaul web site, then called Any Care Services to extend it for one additional day, which I was granted. When I went to pick up the truck, Any Car Service had trouble checking me out. I called UHaul corporate and had a conversation with a woman who was short, continued to cut me off, didn't listen to my dilemma, and didn't appear to care at all what had happened previously on my end. The call was incredibly frustrating--no matter what I said, she just kept repeating that I couldn't have the truck for another day. A call back to another person about 10 minutes later was radically different--your representative was helpful and got me squared away. I will think twice about renting from UHaul in the future based on the first person in customer service that I spoke with. Please review the tape to make your own assessment. My wife and I needed to move out on Monday, so I booked an appointment for that day. When I got to the location, our truck was there but no one was able to verify that the truck was dropped off from the night before. So I couldnt use the truck. We ended up having to pay a fee for having to stay at our last residence. So I hate U-Haul for not honoring our appointment. I would rather use a trusted local moving company.
