My only disappointment was I specifically asked for a vehicle that could carry three adults safely. When I collected the truck - it only could carry two adults - so we had to revise our plans for transporting the next day. The only offer made to me was to upgrade to a more expensive truck - I didnt think that this was correct!

My today experience was absolutely disgusting from start to finish. I booked a day in advance a cargo van looking to move just a mattress. I supposed to take the car at 10am, arrived at the store at 9.30 (the store was disgusting overall). The only one person in the store asked me 5 times my personal information and inputted again ( as he mentioned I cant use my on-line application). Over 45 minutes waiting and as well have to wait to take a call for the printing house (the other business they own), and listen to the entire conversation. After 45 minutes still can't process the order, called the manager and told him to give me a 10'van the only other van they will have in the parking and they will apply the rates for the cargo van. Told him I am not happy, first because the cost of gas will be bigger, I don't need such a big car and third I am not confident to drive this car. As they have the van in the parking lot I need that one. He told me he cant process the order for the cargo van!?! Since was already close to 11am and the person from where I have to pick up the stuff was waiting I accepted to take the bigger car with the charge per km for the cargo van. He didn't come with me to show me the fuel or km...the car was dirty, coffee all over. The car was almost with no gas...show me that I can drive max 31miles. When I bought the car back he told me that the fuel was over a quarter, and if don't want to pay extra I have to go and put more gas. I show him the receipt with the time and amount I added and did the math and showing based on the KM I drove will be impossible to have a quarter when I left. I added, whatever another 20cad in gas. Finally, when I check the invoice he charged me all the fees like I rented the 10" not the cargo as he mentioned in the morning. He told me that is automatically paid from my card he added in the morning and I have to call the manager for my invoice to be adjusted...TO CALL THE MANAGER it is absolutely ridiculous after the terrible experience I went through. He told me plain and simple, this is what I have to do if I need the difference back. I have my reservation from online with the type of the car I ordered, I have the time I arrived and left the parking, I paid extra for the gas and accepted to drive a car I was not looking for...and, in the end, I have to pay extra or if I am not willing to, I have to call the manager, hunt him whenever he will be willing to speak with me and fix my invoice. IT IS RIDICULOUS! This is not the first time I am renting but I never had such a horrible experience like today! But this is the first time from this location and for sure will be the last one. Thank you for reading my long review and hope you can fix this issue asap.

I made the order on line for a 2pm pick up and nothing was ready. I only got the truck at245. I ordered pads online and the location had no pads. I order another piece of equipment to assist in moving and they did not have one for me I am very discouraged from using uhaul again. The customer service was below poor.

There was a problem with the computer system which resulted in a long time to check out, despite the fact that I had checked in online. And I was invoiced for insurance coverage that I did not want. It was resolved but I had to call in to have this corrected. First time dealing with Uhaul, not the most straightforward rental experience I've had.

The self serve and how it works needs better help information (ex. I did not know that I needed to install an app until I arrived to pick up the van). Once I figured it out I liked it and I would do it again.

I hold dual citizenship.l & it's because I absolutely love Canada. But most of my family and friends agree that when in Canada, the Canadian version of your uHaul has the absolute worst customer experience ever!!! In any country in which I have lived, which are four total countries, by the way. They argue with customers, hang up in their faces, (I have seen this in person)c, etc. I called in several days ago and heard one of the reps arguing with a customer..., telling him to stop talking!!! (In a disgruntled fashion). I'm sure it was because they had either switched his location of pickup or they had changed his preferred equipment. They always overbook. They change the locations of your pickup without telling you. Yes! It's the norm here. It's happened to me three times in one year. And they treat me better Han most customers because I don't put up a fight. Last time, they called me 30 minutes before my pickup to tell me that my pickup had been moved one town over. This wrecked the plans of my moving company, as well as my plans. They also change your equipment very often. Don't take my word for it. Just ask all of this end of Ontario. They'll tell you.

I called to the U-Haul to confirm about drop location. I dropped the track at the provided location, with full gas (I have a pictures) they still charged me additional 15 CAD for unfilled tank.
